Value Stream Manager
Our client is a very well-established, leading manufacturer of Medical Devices, seeking a Value Stream Manager for their modern manufacturing facility located near Kearney, Nebraska. The Value Stream Manager will lead Continuous Improvement and Lean Initiatives in the plant. The Value Stream Manager will develop and implement a plan for Continuous Improvement at the site and develop associates' Lean Manufacturing skills.
Responsibilities:
Leads Continuous Improvement Initiatives through Lean manufacturing techniques
With support from leadership, develop and implement a plan for continuous improvement
Educates associates and involves them in value stream improvement projects
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in science or engineering
5 or more years of leadership experience in a manufacturing plant
Six Sigma or CQE preferred
Lean Manufacturing experience
Working knowledge of SAP preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft office
5 years of Project Management experience
Excellent communication skills and proven leadership skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
