Production Supervisor

Our client is a leading manufacturer of Medical Devices, seeking a Production Supervisor Shift) for their modern manufacturing facility located near Kearney,Nebraska. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team on an evening schedule (4 nights on, 4 nights off), in a dynamic company offering exceptional opportunities for career development and advancement. The Production Supervisor will lead a team of employees in this high volume manufacturing environment and is ideal for someone with 3-5 years of supervisory experience, including some manufacturing or related experience.
Responsibilities include:
Directing activities of employees and ensuring that all employees are treated equally and in compliance with all policies and procedures, as well as interviewing, coaching, attendance and performance monitoring
Monitoring daily productivity and waste, identifying problem areas
Plans staffing needs to meet production schedules
Takes pro-active measures to ensure a safe working environment
Ensures that quality product is produced on the shift
Assists with preventive maintenance of equipment and monitors equipment use and modifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business, Engineering or related area
3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing (may consider recent Military candidate)
Demonstrated ability to set priorities and experience with scheduling
Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
