Line Supervisor

These positions will pay $19-22 (salary will be based on qualifications and experience) an hour with $1.00 an hour for shift differential.
POSITION
Summary:
Responsible for assigning responsibilities to department personnel, and coordinating department activities and
personnel. Monitors department's performance for safety, quality, and productivity.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND
Experience:
Required: High school education with two to three years experience in a production, warehousing or
distribution capacity, including time spent in leadership role.
Any deviations from the above requirements (e.g. substituting more work experience for required education)
will be evaluated and approved by the Vice President - Operations.
Preferred: High school education plus course work in administration and supervision and four years experience
in manufacturing, including time spent in production leadership.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledgeable in the operation and maintenance of all equipment in the department. Experience using
personal computers and business software (i.e. Microsoft Office and Windows). Working knowledge of area
specific software-(MANMAN, OMAR, Manhattan WMS).
RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: All departments.
External: Suppliers, contractors, and freight companies, salesmen, etc.
SUPERVISES:
Department supervision and production personnel.
SUPERVISED BY:
Department supervision.

CORE DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1. Plans, organizes, and assigns work in accordance with production schedules and utilizing labor and equipment
to the best advantage.
2. Assures the department conforms with company policies, safety procedures, quality procedures and process
instructions.
3. Anticipates production problems and where feasible devises and implements procedures to keep time loss and
schedule interruption at a minimum.
4. Maintains conformance with work rules and regulations, issues warnings for violations and administers
approved disciplinary measures.
5. Maintains and trains an adequate work force consistent with planning requirements and work levels.
6. Participates in job and wage administration procedures, which includes performance reviews and
recommendations for job changes.
7. Participates in and coordinates programs for methods improvements, work simplification, cost reduction,
communications, training, etc.
8. Prepares reports relating to production activities, e.g. production, scrap, and machine hour reports.
9. Responsible for keeping areas neat, clean, organized, and under control.
10. Responsible for the proper application of employee relations policies, wage adjustments, safety and health
regulations.
11. Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
