Summary:
Provides clerical, administrative and limited technical support in the provision of services by the Laboratory Department.
Essential Duties:
Prepares, processes and transports specimens for analysis using established policies, procedures and methods consistent with safe work practices and good laboratory technique.
Compiles, organizes, processes and distributes materials and information for the Laboratory Department. (Includes, computer data entry and retrieval, admitting and billing functions.)
Communicates information effectively to all employees, guests and visitors in an appropriate manner.
Must possess the ability to identify and resolve technical problems.
Performs value added activities that result in positive financial performance and customer satisfacation.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of one year prior office or technical experience.
Prefer experience in health care environment.
License/Certification:
Valid state driver's license required.

Scheduled Hours per 2-week Pay Period: 40
Weekends Required: Every Third
