PRN Nutrition Tech

The Nutrition Tech is a member of the KRMC Nutrition Department.
Primary responsibilities are to positively affect patient satisfaction by obtaining menu choices, delivering desirable, nutritious foods in a timely manner to all age groups and categories.
Compliance with rules and regulations of all applicable federal state and local laws as well as KRMC policies is a condition of employment.
# Assists with preparation of tray.
Copies and complies menus for distribution to patients.
Presents menu options to patients for selection according to diet requirements and age specific needs.
Edits menu to insure proper diet needs Double checks tray with menu selections before delivering to patient to ensure tray is accurate.
If it is not, takes corrective actions before delivering.
Prepares and delivers patient Nourishments.
Collects all patient trays and returns them to kitchen in a timely manner.
Washes dishes as well as puts away clean dishes and utensils.
Disposes of trash in appropriate manner and as needed.
Cleans various areas of department.
Maintains a high level of service orientation.
Dishes and preps food items in appropriate portions and amounts.
Collects and documents data related to patient care.
Data will include but not limited to fluid and food intakes of patients.
Calorie Counts, records refrigerators/freezer temperatures of patient refrigerators.
Follow safety/sanitation practices for patient refrigerators and food/dish storage areas by throwing out all mislabeled or non-labeled food items.
Performs value added activities that result in positive customer satisfaction.
Consults with Supervisor routinely about nutritional care of patients by communicating preferences, likes, dislikes, problem such as patient not eating, disliking food, patient stating they need a more restrictive diet than ordered etc.
Dentures not fitting etc.
Gathers, delivers, stores and rotates food supplies stocked in utility room.
Follows safety/sanitation practices for patient use equipment and storage areas in utility room by them clean and sanitized, including delivery and pick up carts.
Follows HACCP plan.
Responds to requests in a timely and courteous manner.
Answers phone etiquette, relaying messages to proper person.
Follows HFAP, State, and Federal regulations.
Attends staff meetings and in services.
Other duties may be assigned Education/
Experience:

Experience:
Currently enrolled in High School or High School Graduate/GED Recommended Skills Communication Customer Satisfaction Food Safety Health Care Corrective And Preventive Action (Capa) Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
