4 Full-time 2 days ago Full Job Description JOB Plus $3/hour differential for hours worked! $5000 hiring bonus! EXAMPLE OF DUTIES This position provides House RN coverage and general supervision of all units to ensure that members receive the highest quality long-term care.
Assure the application of nursing process and continuous quality improvement in keeping with the vision of the nursing department.
Provides clinical oversight of facility on assigned shift, with general supervision from he nursing unit directors.
Supports and implements the vision and mission of the nursing department.
Participates with staff evaluations, counseling, and competencies as needed and assigned.
Reviews staffing for current shift and upcoming shifts.
Communicates with all departments effectively to promote continuity and overall satisfaction among team members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a registered nurse in Nebraska and one year of relevant experience.
PREFERRED:
2 years experience in geriatric, long-term care and skilled nursing practice with demonstration of at least 1 year minimum preferred in a Nursing Supervisor position.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Knowledge of registered nursing theory and practice with emphasis on gerontology and nursing leadership; accepted standards of care; regulations, laws and standards applicable to long term care; sanitation and infection control standards.
Skill in coordinating and providing nursing care; directing nursing service shift or program activities.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; read and interpret regulations to include State, VA and Federal long-term care; use of a computer.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
