Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team and provide support to the individuals we support as a Direct Support Professionals/DSP in residential and vocational locations to support individuals with activities, habilitation, and daily living activities.
What You'll Do:
Work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings to ensure they have a meaningful life.
As a DSP you will assist individuals with day to day living activities and developing skills in a home environment and in community settings.
Hours:
We support individuals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so we have a variety of shifts available throughout the day.
We offer part-time and full-time shifts days, evenings, weekends, and overnights.
Skillset Needed for the Job:
Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexible and willing to adapt to change.
Know the value of communication.
Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals.
Understand the importance of documentation.

Requirements:
Must be 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Experience not required - we will train you! Pay:
$16 to $18 an hour.
We pay more for experience and if you have a CNA license.
